The Gilishim University was established by the Gilishim Foundation for Education, Culture, Health and Social Services under the name of “Gilishim Vocational School”.

The university includes 3 faculties, 3 institutes and 5 schools as well as master’s and doctorate programs.

The campus is located near Ataturk Airport, specifically in the area of Avglar at the European end of Istanbul

The university has 100 labs and 17 research centers to train students, as well as high quality sports facilities, providing students with opportunities for education and recreation
